How can I stop hunger in Africa?

The Church is God’s agent for social change. Our correspondence with pastors in Africa is that people often come to them looking for food and to meet their basic needs for life. Who better to bring about change than nationals themselves? We believe in empowering pastors to help the lives of the people in their churches and communities. Rather than a white person from Canada coming over and telling people what to do, we want to stand with these African pastors and churches. We look at the African church as our equals. We believe the African church has much to teach us here in Canada about faith and the power of God. It seems that wherever the Gospel takes root, the standard of living begins to rise. One of the best ways to stop hunger, disease and war is to support the local churches in Africa and to strengthen the ministers.
